Essential Duties and Responsibilities - This summary of tasks is illustrative only and is not comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by this position. Persons in this position will perform all other tasks as assigned and work overtime as required. Must be able to do all functions as listed in the operating procedures for the position.
Do tank and charger checks, polarity checks, turn ons and record results.
Check battery for defects. Wet System down for loading.
Use and understand all procedures for hydrometers.
Complete battery tag outs. Cap and wash batteries.
Must be certified to drive lift truck and be able to set batteries in system.
Be able to do the wet down and turn on process.
Must be able to Start and complete the EQ process in full according to the job OP.
Must be able to perform Discharge and Reboost test in line with the posted job OP. Monitor automated acid mix system to ensure of proper mixing.
Trouble shoot problems that may arise.
Must be able to work in a team environment, establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with coworkers and all plant personnel.
Follow all Operating Procedures.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safety procedures.
Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
Must be able to wear a respirator.
Must be able to work around acid and acid fumes.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear a respirator and submit to routine blood draws and annual physical.

Ability to apply basic math.
Must be able to comprehend instruction both oral and written.
Must be able to record work orders and enter data into Kronos.
Must be able to use and understand all procedures for hydrometers.
Must have keen attention to detail.
Education:
Must have high school degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
