Battery Technician

Will process returned battery product through inspection and evaluation including voltage reads, cadmium reads, capacity testing and tear down of product requiring the use of hand and power tools. Position will also fill in as needed for plant QC inspector. Must be able to wear respirator, lift 50 lbs and have physical ability to tear down batteries. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and work overtime as needed.
Ability to use and understand hydrometer and volt meter readings, understanding of electrical currents and battery types.
Must be detail oriented and be able to follow complicated instructions to the letter.
Must have above average math skills.
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Minimum of GED required.
